I was just browsing through your website because I have a family tree that goes back many generations (1640). My dad's family is from Rockcastle county Ky, and he is the son of the late Walker French. His Grandmother was Lola Doan, who married Harry Chasteen (Aunt Polly House). (after her husband passed away..George Washington French) My mom and dad even lived there for a short while after they were married, and I even remember visiting "Grandma Chasteen" when I was younger. I was looking at our family tree and I noticed that we are definitely related, but there is a discrepancy in the tree that has me confused. My great, great, great grandfather was John French (1820) who was married to Charlotte "Lottie" Bryant(kelly?) Now, here is where I have the discrepancy. My tree then has my direct descendant (great great grandfather) as Willis French (9/13/1848) , and then my Dad's grandpa, George Washington French. In your geneology tree you have John French(1820) married to Charlotte "Lottie" Bryant but then you have the child Willis as being deceased at birth. Do you have any information that could help clear this up for me?? I don't know what made me look into my geneology all of a sudden, but I found your website very interesting. I was mainly looking up my ties to the Aunt Polly house, because my dad was looking through pictures of when he was a kid there. Anyway, any light you could shed on this would be greatly appreciated!

I am the son of Robert H. Proctor. Grandson of Roy Proctor from Pennsylvania.
I have been told Roy Proctor had a brother name Ray in Pennsylvania. My family and I visited Ray's home in Pennsylvania when we where little kids in the 1970's.
